Scientists have discovered what social media posts can say about a person’s love life.
Scientists from the University of Massachusetts have decided to keep up with the times and have conducted a study, the results of which will interest everyone who has a social media account (that is, literally everyone). They found that social media posts talk about users’ sex lives.
We pay tribute to the researchers: they worked very hard. First they analyzed the social profiles of 223 thousand users, and then the questionnaires on their sex life, to which they answered with the utmost honesty allowed by human nature.
Then the scientists analyzed the data obtained. As it turned out, the majority (82% of women and 60% of men surveyed) who like to post their selfies on social media are dissatisfied with their sex life. Yes, it turns out that all the beautiful girls you follow who post ten selfies a day aren’t necessarily happy with their personal life. But we do not advise you to write in their comments: “I know everything about you”.
But users who share landscape photos, on the contrary, are satisfied with their sex life. Even if there isn’t any. They are not worried about the lull in their love life because they are already fine alone. (Lucky them!)
Fans of wise quotes are afraid of sex experiments and prefer to do everything as quickly as possible and the old-fashioned way. Those who like to share photos and videos of cute cats, owls and puppies are not only sexually active, but hyperactive as well. As a rule, one partner is not enough for them and they are constantly looking for new sensations. People who talk about their children’s success and achievements perceive sex as physical exercise – sometimes you don’t want it, but it’s good for your health.
Hopefully, if this information doesn’t save your life, it will at least make you look at your friends on social networks differently. Plus, we bet you’ll never post a wise quote on social media again.
