South African opposition leader Julius Malema said he is considering getting his vaccination against Covid-19 in Zimbabwe.
The commander-in-chief of the EFF said this during a press conference Thursday, as he launched a ferocious attack on his country’s Covid-19 launch strategy.
Zimbabwe has opened free vaccination to foreigners. However, it has begun to experience some shortcomings that the government attributes to a faulty distribution system that has seen some centers run out while others still have stocks.
Zimbabwe has confirmed that it will receive 500,000 doses this month, which although they are welcome well below the announced goal of 1 million doses per month for May, June and July.
Zimbabwe had around 700,000 of its population who received at least one dosage of the vaccine.
