The Zimbabwe Football Association (Zifa) has announced a financial incentive if the Warriors beat Ethiopia in Tuesday’s World Cup qualifiers.
The money was bought by Deputy Minister for Youth, Sports, Art and Leisure Tino Machakaire, according to the release.
The amount? USD 64,000 to be split between players and staff.
It will be interesting to see what this does for the players given the lackluster draw at home against South Africa on Friday.
Manager Zdravko Logarusic has promised changes to the squad as he seeks to change an unwanted 13-record win as Zimbabwe manager.
The Warriors have arrived in Ethiopia and the match will be held at the Bahir Dar International Stadium, at 18:00 Zimbabwe time.
