Iowa Senator Joni Ernst (R) made strong remarks in his home state about the radical left’s agenda. During an event in support of Representative Randy Feenstra (R-Iowa) on Friday, Ernst acknowledged that the GOP found itself in a difficult situation in the minority with its battles against the radical Democrats.

Ernst told attendees that Republicans cannot allow liberals to radicalize the country.

“We have received this huge boost from the Democrats who control the majority in the House, the majority in the Senate and the White House. They are trying to fundamentally change who we are as a country, “he said.” You know what folks, we’re not going to let them.

Great to join @RandyFeenstra for her first Feenstra Family Picnic 🧺 at Sioux Center together @Mike_Pence & @millermeeks!

The Democrats are pushing hard to push through their radical far-left agenda and we must stand up to stop it. #KeepIowaRed # IA04
