See what DSS did when the American lawyer tried to meet Nnamdi Kanu

The chief lawyer of the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, said the Department of State Services prevented the detainee from seeing his lawyers on Thursday.

Ifeanyi Ejiofor, in a statement obtained by IGBERE TV on Friday, said the secret police denied himself and other lawyers including “US IPOB lawyer Bruce Fein” from meeting Kanu.

He described the denial as a violation of the order of a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja which ordered that the DSS should allow lawyers to visit Kanu twice a week. The lawyer had previously reported mistreatment by the DSS during routine visits.

Ejiofor’s statement on Friday was entitled,

“Update on yesterday’s visit being the second day of September 2021.”

It said: “Yesterday (Thursday) the court ordered a visit to our client: Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was interrupted by the officials of the state security services for a reason that we consider extremely ridiculous.

“After the arrival of Mr. Bruce Fein, an American-trained constitutional lawyer and IPOB attorney in the United States of America, the game obviously took an interesting turn.

“Despite our formal notification to the

Service, in line with existing protocol, and in compliance with the guidelines of the Tribunal, officials from the Department of State Security Services made up an excuse, “that the person in charge of seeing us during yesterday’s visit was on A SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT. ”, And as such, the visit cannot be conducted.

“This is not only ridiculous, but clear

violation of court order on guidelines for visiting our client – Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

“For the record, we constantly visited our client on the specified days and time of the week, and there was no time when we were denied access due to the fact that a person assigned to receive us was not available.

“Needless to say, no one was specifically instructed to receive us on any of the visits. They are fully aware that the visit takes place every Monday and Thursday.

“Thankfully, we have another date for Monday and we hope that this person will be available on Monday to see us as we have taken steps to formally bring this latest infringement to the attention of the Court.

“We will continue to update you all as we continue to solicit your relentless prayers and understanding. We are winning, you can be sure “.
