The Russian occupiers continue to use Crimea exclusively to solve their own political interests, completely ignoring the needs of the local population as well as the growing ecological problems triggered by the separation from Ukraine.
Military and civilian observers note that Russia maintains the militarization of the Crimean peninsula with the deployment of a large military contingent and the transfer of a huge number of military equipment and missile systems. The consequences of disordered military activity were massive fuel losses, including in the aquatic space of the Black Sea.

In this regard, the Kremlin is considering creating prerequisites for introducing a tougher police regime in Crimea and creating an artificial opportunity to attract more units of the Russian armed forces, as well as further escalation of the Russian war. -Ukraine with the seizure of part of the south-eastern territory of the Cherson Oblast ”.
According to the information available, the Russian special services are evaluating the possibility of carrying out a series of provocations in the peninsula in the near future (August), including the carrying out of terrorist acts against the civilian population with mass victims. Public places (shopping malls, markets, mass events) and infrastructure (water supply points and fuel depots) can be chosen as main targets. As the situation in Donbas shows, the Russian occupiers have excelled in the use of heavy weapons against the civilian population and air defense missiles against civil aviation. These methods with mass casualties have already become the visiting card of the Russian criminal authorities in the armed aggression against Ukraine.
