North London’s Chelsea will return to Premier League action on Saturday 16 October.
The Blues will face Brentford in the Premier League kick-off.

- CRISTIANO RONALDO IS DISCUSSED WHEN NOT PLAYING
- THIAGO SILVA WILL MISS THE NEXT CHELSEA MATCH
Chelsea enter the game after enjoying a great start to the 2021/22 season.
They would have faced their first league defeat of the season at the hands of Manchester City just before the international break in October.
Furthermore, Thomas Tuchel’s side were still able to lead the table at the start of the interval thanks to Liverpool, who are the only undefeated side in PL this season, drawing three games.
CHELSEA UPDATE ON THE RETURN OF THE WING
And with Chelsea now ready for a much, on paper, gentler series of games, Londoners are expected to stick around for the title image for some time.
The Bees, as the Brentford side is known, shouldn’t be a pushover. Brentford started their first season in the Premier League well, winning three, drawing three and losing one of their first seven games, beating Arsenal and drawing with Liverpool.
Ahead of the clash with Brentford, an update on Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic has emerged.
The American only appeared once in PL during this period after suffering from Covid-19 and then being excluded due to an ankle injury sustained while on international duty in September:
Now, however, an overview has been provided as to when Pulisic may be returning.
Sources have revealed that Pulisic could return to training as early as next week and, being all right, could make his return for Chelsea against Brentford, albeit almost certainly from the sub bench.
