The way people see the world is heavily influenced by the “news” they see on television and read on the Internet. Unfortunately, much of that “news” is produced by just five huge companies. In fact, although the numbers vary from month to month, more than 90 percent of the “news” Americans watch on television is controlled by those five companies. Smaller outlets like Newsmax are looking to make a dent, but it’s an uphill battle. The news on the Internet is more diverse, but in conjunction with the 15 billionaires who own and control the American newspaper industry, the same five companies have come to dominate online as well. The tech giants have certainly helped their cause by designating them as “trusted sources” and adjusting the algorithms to ensure that we get a steady diet of the “news” that the media giants are constantly publishing. The whole system is designed to direct us towards certain voices, and those voices are constantly working very hard to alter what we think about things.
According to a survey, the average American spends 238 minutes a day watching TV. If you allow anyone to pump so much propaganda into your mind day after day, it is inevitable that the way you see the world will change.
Sadly, many people out there still believe that large corporate-owned news networks are the “guardians of democracy” and are only looking for their best interests.
Needless to say, it’s not even close to reality. In our day, everyone has programs to push, and large corporate-owned news networks are no exception. The “reporters” of those networks will shape the news to convey the messages their corporate leaders want them to convey, and anyone who believes otherwise is simply naive.
So, exactly who are these five giant corporations that own and control almost all the news we see on television?
Well the first is AT&T’s WarnerMedia which he owns CNN…
You Cable News Network (CNN) is a news multinational pay television channel based in Atlanta. It is owned by CNN Worldwide, a unit of the WarnerMedia News and Sports division of AT&T‘S WarnerMedia. It was founded in 1980 by American media owner Ted Turner is Reese Schonfeld like 24 hours cable news channel. At the time of its launch in 1980, CNN was the first television channel to provide 24/7 news coverage, and was the first all-news television channel in the United States.
The second is Comcast which owns NBC News…
NBCUniversal is primarily concerned with media and fun industry. The company takes its name from its two most significant divisions, the National Broadcasting Company (NBC) – one of the United States Big Three TV networks – and the major Hollywood film studio Universal images. It also has a significant presence in broadcasting through a portfolio of national and international properties, including USA network, Syfy, well done, Telemundo, Universal childrenand the streaming service Peacock. through his Universal Parks & Resorts division, NBCUniversal is also the third operator of amusement parks in the world.
Of course Comcast also has a cable news channel MSNBC…
MSNBC he is an American news-based pay television cable channel based on New York City. It is owned by the NBCUniversal News Group division of NBCUniversal (a subsidiary of Comcast). Provides NBC News coverage, as well as their own reports and political commentary on current events.
Disney has now become the largest media company in the world and they are the proud owners of ABC News…
You American broadcasting company (ABC) is an American multinational commercial broadcast television network this is a flagship property of Walt Disney television, a division of Disney general entertainment content of The Walt Disney Company. The network is based in Burbank, California, on Riverside Drive, opposite Walt Disney Studios and adjacent to the Roy E. Disney Animation Building. The branch offices of the network and the headquarters of its news division are in New York City, at its broadcast center at 77 66th Street West on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
ViacomCBS may not be as big as the other companies on this list, but their control of CBS News gives them a tremendous amount of influence …
CBS (originally short for Columbia transmission system, its former legal name used from 1928 to 1974) is an American commercial broadcast television is radio network. It serves as flagship property of CBS Entertainment Group division of ViacomCBS. The network is based at the CBS building in New York City, with major manufacturing facilities and operations al CBS broadcast center in New York City, e CBS Television City and the CBS Studio Center in Los Angeles.
Last, but certainly not least, fox company (which is controlled by the Murdoch family) owns and controls Fox News …
Fox Corporation is an American mass media company headquartered in New York City. The company was formed in 2019 following the acquisition of 21st Century Fox by The Walt Disney Company; assets that were not acquired by Disney were spun off from 21st Century Fox as the new Fox Corp. and its shares began trading on January 1, 2019. The company is incorporated in Delaware.
It is owned by the Murdoch family through a family trust with a 39.6% stake; Rupert Murdoch is president, while his son Lachlan Murdoch is executive president and CEO. Fox Corp. focuses primarily on the television broadcasting, news and sports broadcasting industries. They include the Fox Broadcasting Company, Fox TV stations, Fox News, Fox Business, Fox Sports’ national operations, and others. Its Murdoch-controlled subsidiary, the current News Corp, holds its printing interests and other media assets.
Many consider Fox News to be “the conservative alternative” to other major news networks, but the truth is that the “news” produced by Fox News is not all that different from the “news” produced by other networks.
Every day, millions and millions of Americans have conversations focused on the “news” they have just seen on television. So those who decide what the “news” will be have an extraordinary amount of power.
Just look at what happened when Fauci’s emails were revealed. They proved that Dr. Fauci lied to us over and over, and they also showed that he was involved in a massive conspiracy to cover up the true origin of the pandemic.
But CNN, MSNBC, NBC News, ABC News, and CBS News all decided it wasn’t going to be a scandal, and so most Americans don’t believe it is.
On Monday, a British news source posted a bombshell about the text messages used by Hunter Biden some of the most racist languages imaginable, and this should be front page news across the country.
But the big news networks are silent about Hunter Biden’s text messages. In fact, I couldn’t find even a reference to the story on the Fox News homepage.
So Hunter Biden’s racist language won’t be a scandal because they don’t want it to be a scandal.
Meanwhile, Chris Harrison is permanently canceled for simply suggesting he give a contestant to his previous show “A little grace” for a mistake he made in his past …
“We all need some grace … Because I’ve seen some stuff online, again this judge-jury-executor thing, where people are just tearing apart this girl’s life,” Harrison said during. the interview. “I’m not defending Rachael. I just know, I don’t know, 50 million people did it in 2018. It was a kind of party that a lot of people went to. “
He continued: “The awake police are out there. And this poor girl Rachael, who has just been fed to the lions. I don’t know how equipped you are when you’ve never done it before, to be smart enough, to be eloquent enough, to be ready to handle it. “
When will we finally get tired of all the hypocrisy?
If Chris Harrison gets canceled simply for wanting to show someone some grace, how much more does Hunter Biden deserve to be canceled? for the horrible language he used?
But Hunter Biden won’t be canceled because it’s off limits.
He can literally do whatever he wants because his father is in the White House and the mainstream media will protect Joe Biden at all costs.
It is at this point in the article that I should encourage everyone to shut down the major news networks and never look back.
But we all know that the vast majority of Americans will continue to watch their favorite news networks, no matter how corrupt they become, and that is extremely unfortunate.
