June 11: OF Austin Hays reinstated from 10 day injury list
Not available since May 24 with a strained left hamstring, Hays has been limited to 32 games this season due to hamstring injuries. He’s hitting .252 with five homers and .774 OPS (113 OPS +) in those contests.

June 10: OF Ryan McKenna optioned for Triple-A Norfolk
The Orioles optioned McKenna to clear space on the roster for the return of left fielder Austin Hays. Novice McKenna is hitting 195 without a home run in 33 big league games in 2021.

June 8: RHP Mac Sceroler reinstated from 10-day injured list (right shoulder tendonitis)
Rule 5 rookie lost nearly two months with a right shoulder problem. He appeared in two games in April, the first of his MLB career.

LHP John means (left shoulder strain)
Expected return: TBD
Means underwent imaging after coming out of his June 5 departure against Indians with left shoulder fatigue. An MRI exam revealed strain but no structural damage. The means will be set aside at least seven to 10 days with the problem. (Last updated: June 6)

INF / OF Richie Martin (left wrist fracture)
Expected return: End of 2021
The Orioles have officially placed Martin, who fractured his left wrist on May 18, on the 60-day injury list on Monday to free up a spot on the 40-man roster. This was essentially a paper move, as Martin is expected to be sidelined for several months. He last appeared in the majors in 2019. (Last updated: May 31)

The right of the Minor League was successfully operated on Wednesday. The surgery was performed by Dr. Keith Meister in Dallas, Texas. (Last updated: May 27)

1B Chris Davis (hip surgery)

: 2022
Davis injured his back in his first game of Spring Training and never appeared in the regular season for the Orioles in 2021. He underwent arthroscopic hip lip surgery on May 18 and is not expected to return until 2022, l last year of its seven years, $ 161 million contract. (Last updated: May 25)
