New rules for Bill Maher’s delusional “slow coup” conspiracy theory

Bill Maher recently posted videos that were somewhat critical of far-off lefties who were too crazy even for Bill Maher. It led some to believe (see here and here) that Bill Maher was getting Red Pilled. But unfortunately this is not the case. Maher is still left and delusional as ever – he just likes to make jokes and throw up hyperbole to stay relevant.

In the video for this article, you can see Maher’s latest left-wing delusional conspiracy theory “Slow Moving Coup”.

Maher’s conspiracy theory is based on a CNN report on a memo written by John Eastman outlining a possible strategy to get Donald Trump to be declared the winner of the 2020 election. Washington Post he had also previously reported the existence of the memo.

The memorandum was reportedly drafted and distributed ahead of the January 6 electoral vote count. He suggests a legal strategy whereby Vice President Pence excludes the electoral votes of seven states due to a list of competing state voters.

John Eastman has he told CNN that the aforementioned note was only a preliminary draft and provided CNN’s Jeremy Herb with a six-page long note, dated Jan.3, outlining several potential electoral tally scenarios.

New rules for Bill Maher on “slow coup” conspiracy theories:

  1. It is not a “coup” to have a lawyer suggest ways to contest the presidential election results. It has already happened – see here.
  2. It is not a “coup” to entertain the idea of two voters competing between constituencies in Congress, which is nothing new – see here.
  3. It is not a “coup” to question the integrity of the elections: here is a complete database of documents. Sometimes the elections are not close and the challenges to the results would be useless, but the 2020 elections were close and it would be reasonable to expect challenges on the election results.
  4. It is not a “coup” to seek better transparency and accuracy in elections with improved electoral integrity laws.
  5. It is not a “coup” to try to build like-minded people in an organization to support their candidacy and policies for the presidency. It’s called politics, in case anyone has forgotten about it.

Bill Maher evidently believes that if one questions the election results or makes an election challenge, exercising one’s legal and constitutional right to do so is a “coup” for him. The real “coup” would be to block one’s ability to do so. Something the Democrats have tried hard to do.

Maher, in his video, makes the “three easiest predictions in the world”: Trump runs for president in 2024, wins the Republican nomination and then sings victory regardless of the voting results. Though it’s quite the prediction, Maher appears to be concerned that Trump is like a cunning shark planning a presidential bid. OMG, never seen before: a politician is planning to run for president. Laugh at Maher’s humor. In the past, he called Trump, an orangutan, some kind of idiot dufus. So what is it, Bill? Is Trump an idiotic dufus or a cunning shark?

Maher’s hysterical hypocrisy doesn’t stop there; he goes on.

Maher acts as if Trump is some kind of dictator, even trying to compare him to Hitler. But Trump’s power comes from voter support. He is not a dictator. Isn’t that what democratic voting should be like in a republic? But Maher believes the Trumpsters have no idea what they believe, even in a cult. Maher most likely believes it because, from his elevated position at the top, he never really took the time to talk to them to listen to their concerns. He rarely has them on his show. And when he does, he bullies them and mocks them.

Maher appears to be concerned about electoral integrity if Trump works state-level on electoral integrity laws. If Maher is so worried, let’s have that honest discussion to confirm the vote – most Trump supporters would welcome an open and honest dialogue with Democrats on election integrity – something Democrats will rarely do because the system favors today. themselves.

Maher essentially concedes in his conspiracy theory that the events of January 6 were not an insurrection as described by the mainstream media, although in his mind runs the theory that it is the prelude to a “true” future uprising. He witnesses the illegal action of a few tens upon hundreds of thousands of peaceful protesters on January 6th.

Yes, one person died, at the questionable hand of a Capitol police officer. The group had been infiltrated by outside provocateurs. Maher does not even mention the BLM / Antifa riots that occurred in the run-up to the 2020 election, where they killed dozens, causing billions in damage, and were largely a tool of fear and violence for the Democratic party to fund the Biden’s election campaign. This was the “real” coup.

But Maher surpasses himself in his latest dig: his latest hysterical, self-righteous conspiracy theory. You see, it was the wrong “coup” for Mike Pence to challenge the election results on the day the constituency votes were counted. But when the situation is reversed, and Kamala Harris is in charge of the count, she would be totally justified in doing what Trump wanted Mike Pence to do. The difference is that she is a leftist Democrat. Maher even suggests that President Biden uses the military to prevent a potential Trump president from rising to power if he wins.

Will Maher be able to understand the irony of his conspiracy theory? Using Maher’s language, these delusional “slow coup” conspiracy theories should scare the hell out of you.

Go ahead, have a coffee and watch the video in this article – I liked it. Maybe a dark side in a lot of us, but we like looking at strangely ridiculous things. Bill Maher always behaves so sophisticated and condescending to us little people. Watching Maher’s mental illusion takes your breath away. One wonders if Maher is trolling us or really believes the nonsensical conspiracy theories he invented?
