The daily increase in new coronavirus infections was less than 30,000 for 19 consecutive days, and fewer than 50,000 new cases were reported daily for 108 consecutive days.
Active cases dropped to 2.07,653, the lowest in 214 days, comprising 0.61 percent of total infections, while the national Covid cure rate was recorded at 98.06 percent, the ministry said. .

The number of active COVID-19 cases in Kerala dropped below one lakh – 96,646 to be exact – on Tuesday after surpassing that figure more than five months ago during the start of the second wave, PTI reported.
