The revelation of Warzone season 4 is fast approaching, with Activision teaming up with the Summer Games Fest to provide a first look at what’s on the agenda.
The Summer Game Fest has a busy schedule and it seems like call of Duty Warzone season 4 will be one of the first revelations.
A trailer should be shared, including news for fans of Battle Royale, multiplayer, and Call of Duty Cold Zombies.
The Treyarch developers have already confirmed that a new Zombies experience will be launching as part of Season 4, so this may be the time when we get a full preview.
Treyarch’s message shared in May reads: “As we mentioned in our Season 3 special broadcast, our next round-based Zombie map is slated to release during Season 4 and will take place after the main Outbreak mission events.
“The team has been working on this next map since before the release of” Firebase Z “and we want to make it the best experience possible before it is finally in your hands.
“Looking ahead, more Zombie content is already being developed for future seasons. In addition to this new content, players can expect new perks, miracle weapons, support weapons, limited-time modes, and information on the history of the dark ether along the way.
“We appreciate everyone’s patience as we continue the development of our next map and we hope you enjoy all the other Zombies content to come in the meantime.
“As a reminder, it’s important to remember that an entire season of content doesn’t start and end on day one. Seasons deliver content for multiple weeks, with a mid-season update coming along the way with even more new content.
“Just because something doesn’t go live on day one doesn’t mean it won’t arrive … it means it’s still in the works!”
WARZONE SEASON 4 REVEALS THE TIME AT THE SUMMER GAME FEST
It has been confirmed that Call of Duty Cold War and Warzone Season 4 will be revealed at 6pm BST on the Summer Game Fest Twitch and YouTube channels.
“The Summer Game Fest kicks off Thursday June 10 with our spectacular live Kickoff show at 11am PT / 2pm ET / 6pm BST. Further events and details will be revealed in the coming weeks.
“The Summer Game Fest is free and available to watch on all major live streaming platforms, including Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and more.”
Many more in-game events are planned, but it looks like one of the first trailers will be for the fourth season of Cold War.
Game Awards presenter Geoff Keighley will be hosting the kick off show, so there may be some behind-the-scenes news and developer interviews as well.
There’s also a good chance Activision will reveal upcoming Call of Duty Warzone content, with new map changes and weapons expected in the coming weeks.
Unlike Black Ops Cold War, Warzone will continue to be supported with new content and will be integrated with the new COD game released in 2021.
So even if things start to wrap up with the Cold War in the months to come, there will still be more things in the works for Warzone.
