Data Science Jobs: An abundance of Analytics jobs, over 93,500 Data Science jobs vacancies in the country by end of July 2021

At the end of August, there were more than 93,500 vacancies for data science jobs in the country.
This was stated in the report of the Great Learning Study conducted by Adtech Company.
The report states that even after the Coronavirus outbreak, there are many jobs in the field associated with the analysis.
Not only that, at the end of July 2021, India alone accounted for 9.8 percent of all job openings in the analytics industry worldwide.
In January of this year, India’s contribution to total jobs in the world analysis was 7.2%.
Vacancies in the sector fell from 109,000 in February to 82,500 in May.
Even after that, there is huge demand for employees in major sectors of the industry.

Big promotions in multinational companies, IT and KPOs
Currently, most of the jobs are in multinationals and national IT and KPO companies, which are moving jobs to India and promoting them on a large scale.
The study looked at job prospects in data science this year.
It also sought to learn about the impact of the Corona virus outbreak on vacancies in these sectors.
The study also found that the demand for middle and senior professionals with more than 7 years of experience is increasing.
According to the study, more jobs were available for young professionals in 2019, while companies are vigorously promoting middle- and senior-level professionals this year.
These cities have more data science jobs
Most of the jobs are in Bengaluru. Bengaluru contributes about 23% of the total analytics job openings in the country, which is slightly higher than last year.
This is followed by Delhi / RNC with 20% and Mumbai with about 15% of the total openings available in the country.
BFSI Sector The largest recruiter
Excluding the IT sector, the BFSI sector has the highest number of analytics jobs, around 35%.
However, jobs in the sector are in decline. The contribution of the sector to the total analysis work was 41% in 2018 and 38.3% in 2019.
The pharmaceutical sector has 16.3% of jobs available in the analysis, up 3.9% from last year.
Most of the data science jobs in these companies
These 10 companies have the most jobs: Accenture, Infasys, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, IBM India, Dell, HCL, and Colabera Technologies.
Most companies operate in the IT and KPO sectors.
The average salary of data science professionals is over Rs 9.5 lakh per year
According to the listed job vacancies, the average salary of data science professionals in the country is Rs 9.5 lakh per year.
However, the actual salary is higher than indicated.
The salaries of professionals with more than a decade of experience range from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 50 lakh.
The most requested Python professionals
The highest demand is for Python professionals. Python is sought after as a core skill in 27% of openings.
