Nehrovets is a village of about 2,000 people located in the central part of Zakarpattia Oblast, in the far west of Ukraine. The village is dominated by Mount Nehrovets (1,707m), one of the highest mountains in the Ukrainian Carpathians.
The main architectural attraction of the village is the Church of San Michele Arcangelo (1818) which stands on a hill – an architectural monument of national importance and one of the best examples of wooden churches with towers. Nehrovets on Google Maps. Photo by: Maxim Ritus.
