June 9: LHP Reymin Guduan designated for the post
Wednesday afternoon, A’s designated lefty Reymin Guduan, shortly after reinstating him from the 10-day injury list (right groin tense). Guduan recorded an ERA of 6.28 in 11 notable appearances for Oakland.
CF Ramón Laureano (right hip tear)
Expected return: Maybe next week
Laureano did a full training session before Thursday’s game against the Royals which included batting drills, defensive work and running drills on the pitch. A’s manager Bob Melvin said he’s not sure if Laureano will require a Minor League rehab assignment, though the center-back said he could likely use a match or two at the Las Vegas Triple-A to boost his stamina. . RHP JB Wendelken (straight left oblique)
Expected return: Still no timetable
Wendelken is expected to host a 30-shot bullpen session at the Coliseum on Friday, according to coach Bob Melvin. There is a possibility that the right-hander may join the club at some point in the backend of an upcoming 10-game journey that begins on June 18, although it would still need to start a rehab assignment. RHP Mike Fiers (sprained right elbow)

Fiers has started plyometric activities, according to A coach Nick Paparesta, but there is no timeline for when he will start throwing or throwing. (Last updated: June 4)
RHP Trevor Rosenthal (inflammation of the right shoulder)
Expected return: August
Rosenthal, who underwent surgery for thoracic outlet syndrome on April 8, is currently with the team in Oakland and is rapidly progressing through his strength program, according to manager Bob Melvin. The right isn’t playing ball yet, which is the next big step in his progression, but the club has given a “loose” mid-August schedule for his comeback. (Last updated: June 10)
