SAN DIEGO: One person was killed and four others were injured in a shot in San Diego, Police She said.
TO to suspect was arrested after Thursday night shooting and taken to hospital because an officer had to use a Taser during a fight, murder by police Lt Andra Brown told reporters at the scene.
Brown did not identify the suspect, but described the suspect as a white man born in 1988 who had met people and verbally quarreled. He said he has a registered address but he didn’t know if he lived there.
The shots went off around 10.30pm in the busy Gaslamp Quarter, a downtown nightlife district.
A man was shot dead in a parking lot outside a hotel and the gunman then walked down the street, collided with a group of men and opened fire, he said. Brown.
The man killed was 28 but police did not immediately identify him or release further details about him.
Three victims were taken to hospital and another was treated on the spot, but none of their injuries appeared to be life-threatening, Brown said.
The investigation spanned several city blocks, which closed on Friday morning.
